This hour of the world

This hour of the world. 2018.

Tall grasses sway in the last light of the day, their motion softened into gentle traces against a pastel sky of pink and lavender. The long exposure lets the breeze draw itself into the frame, so the field becomes less a place and more a record of passing time. I am interested in how these small, repeated movements can hold the quiet rhythm of a whole evening.
